What IC7 is

IC7 is an online gaming platform for players in India. Why we built it this way

Most gaming apps aimed at India are ports of something designed for a different market, and it shows in the two places players notice first. They are built for flagship phones on fast connections, and they treat support as a ticket queue that answers in three days.

We took the opposite view. The app is built to run on a mid-range Android phone over 4G, because that is what most of our players actually own. Support runs on Telegram, because that is where Indian players already are — you send a message and a person replies, usually in minutes, at any hour of the day or night. Those two decisions shape more of the experience than any feature list would.

The third decision was the library. A hundred and five games sounds like a marketing number until you look at what is in it: Teen Patti in four variants and Andar Bahar for players who grew up with them; Crash, Mines and Plinko for players who want a round to resolve in five seconds; live-hosted tables for players who want the theatre of it. It is a library you can actually explore rather than exhaust in a weekend.

What we tell you honestly

How the platform works

One account, every device

You register once with a mobile number. That account works in the Android app, in a mobile browser, and on a desktop browser, and your history and bonus balance follow you between them. There is nothing to migrate and nothing stored only on your phone — which is why uninstalling and reinstalling the app loses you nothing at all.

How we write about games

Every one of the 105 titles on this site has a page explaining how it works. Those pages are written to be useful before you play, not to sell you the game — which means they include the things a marketing page leaves out.

When a category is difficult to play sensibly, we say so. Our Instant Play pages state outright that a five-second round means an hour contains ten times the exposure of an hour elsewhere, and that it is not the place to start. When a category eats mobile data, we put the number on the page: a Live Arena table streams roughly 0.5–1 GB an hour, and you deserve to know that before your plan tells you. When a "strategy" does not work, we do not hedge — no pattern, system or prediction tool changes the outcome of a round, and every page that could plausibly attract that question says so.

We take that approach for a straightforward commercial reason as well as an ethical one. A player who understands what they are doing has a better time and stays for years. A player who was sold a fantasy leaves angry, tells everyone, and is right to. The second kind of relationship is worth less to us than the first, even in pure business terms.

What we are not

We are not the operator of the IC7 platform.
